Raspberry PI 3 initial setup without monitor keyboard
Hi Guys, today i am going to write about raspberry pi 3 configuration without monitor and keyboard. Before that we will discuss something about raspberry pi.
Raspberry pi is a single-board computers developed in united kingdom. The original model became far more popular than anticipated, selling outside of its target market for uses such as robotics. Single-board computers means computer which build in a circuit board. this powerful mini system can use as webserver, application server, samba file server, nas storage interface many other purposes as it having GPIO pins so we can program it accordingly. In many robotics and some mini electronics projects we using raspberry pi system.
Congrats if you unpacked first raspberry pi 3 model B, you can start your small mini lab in your home, start research .
Note:- they changed some security in raspberry pi model B+ we can do ssh to ip which we configuring by giving entry in cmdline. Now direct ssh is not possible by this entry because hackers misusing the same because this mini hero is replacing big server even though its acting as super computer in some labs.

Now we are jumping into our topic . How to setup a raspberry pi 3 model B without any keyboard and screen you can see lot of videos in youtube it want work as expected.

(Noobs i will not recommend without monitor and keyboard)
- Network patch cable to connect to your wifi router or laptop
- Microsdcard(8GB or 16GB)
- Notepad ++
We will connect the mocrosd card to laptop by card reader, then with SDformatter we will format the microsdcard .
Download respbian(4.07GB) Operating system from “www.raspberrypi.org/downloads”
Write image with win32Diskimager
open the microsdcard once writing completed and edit cmdline file in sdcard, open with notepadd++ then give the below entry with a ip which is suitable for your environment (eg 192.168.0.103)

In previous version of rasbian OS above entry is enough for the configuration, but for latest RASBIAN Operating system this is not enough . We need one more step before we start our beautiful device.
Take command prompt and follow the steps.
c:\> echo >> ssh
copy this ssh file to sd card(its just a empty file)
Eject the sd card reader and insert to raspberry pi and start the machine. Ping the machine with ip which you assigned in cmdline . Once its started pining take putty software in windows and do ssh with the ip.
There is default username and password for rasbian OS
sudo su – for root access if need change the password of pi by
passwd pi ->command from root (it will ask for new password and confirmation password)
FOR Graphical user interface
First check whether internet is working by pinging google.com.
root@raspberrypi:~# ping google.com
PING google.com (220.127.116.11) 56(84) bytes of data.

then do below.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install realvnc-vnc-server realvnc-vnc-viewer
to start vnc
New ‘X’ desktop is raspberrypi:1
Starting applications specified in /root/.vnc/xstartup
Log file is /root/.vnc/raspberrypi:1.log
set password for vnc user session.
root@raspberrypi:~# vncpasswd root
then download tightvncviewer in windows.
connect and enter the password while asking for the same.
